Shijiazhuang, referred to as "Shi" for short, was formerly known as Shimen. It is one of the important central cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of China, which is the capital of Hebei Province and approved by the State Council. The urbanization rate is 64.41%. Shijiazhuang is located in the North China region, the central and southern Hebei Province, and the Bohai Bay Economic Zone. It is the political, economic, technological, financial, cultural, and information center of Hebei Province. Opening the city to the outside world is also an important commodity distribution center in the country, an important large commercial port in the north, and one of the national trade and exhibition centers. It is a permanent place for the China International Digital Economy Expo and a part of China (Hebei) Free Trade Pilot Zone.
